Why join Elm Park Hornchurch & District Angling Society?

Established in 1936, Elm Park & Hornchurch District Angling Society is one of Essex’s long-running coarse fishing clubs.

Our waters are within reach of anglers from Hornchurch, Romford, Brentwood, Upminster, Harold Wood, Doddinghurst, Shenfield, Billericay, Epping, Chelmsford and Ongar.

Club-owned fisheries

EPHDAS owns three lakes and one River Stour stretch, with subscription money going back into these club waters. We also rent another stretch of the River Stour at Henny. 

Family and junior friendly

Ideal for experienced anglers, families, juniors and people returning to fishing.

Accessible fishing

Accessible swims are available, including swims near parking at Doddinghurst.

Great value membership

Full, family, junior, disabled, senior, intermediate and associate river-only memberships are available.

Membership starts from just £15 for juniors, £45 for disabled adults, £55 for associate river-only membership, £90 for full membership, and £100 for family membership.

Our waters are suitable for families, juniors and anglers developing their skills. Doddinghurst Lake is ideal for youngsters learning to fish, with silver fish close in and accessible swims near the car park.

Can I Join Online?

Yes. Joining online is quick and easy. Click the button below to view membership options and join the club.

Do you offer junior membership?

Yes. Junior anglers are very welcome when accompanied by an adult.

A non-fishing membership is also available for adults who want to accompany a junior angler but do not wish to fish. This costs just £5 per year.

Are there accessible swims?

All three of our lakes have accessible swims easily reachable from the car park. 

Can members bring guests?

Yes. Members can buy guest day tickets in advance. Guest day tickets currently cost £7.
